Dietary truths or marketing disinformation? Red meat

So, this week we’ve talked about how saturated fat may not be the evil fat that is portrayed by the media and conventional medicine, but how trans fat are; and we have also talked about how margarine (that often times contains trans fats) is not heart healthy as it is portrayed and that using butter in moderation is much healthier. Today I’m going to highlight some interesting research conducted by Harvard School of Public Health about red and processed meat consumption. Unfortunately these two different types of meat get lumped together and tarred with the same brush – red meat is full of saturated fat, it contributes to bowel caner and heart disease etc….
