Watercress may reduce breast cancer

I was glad to see today in the news that some research has come out to show that eating 80g of watercress a day can reduce the risk of breast cancer. Now, most good nutritionists have known this for years but it’s great that mainstream science and medicine is catching up. Watercress contains nutrients called indoles and sulphurophane that help the liver detoxify endogenous and exogenous oestrogens. These nutrients can also be found in broccoli, cabbage, kale, cauliflower and kohlrabi.
